About the Show

Live Crafts Shows are major craft events held throughout England.

The public have told us they want high quality exhibitors and more demonstrating with a bit more for the children. With this in mind, we will increase the Make and Take activities and include the animal farm and a couple of small rides to make the show more family friendly. We also want to increase the performing arts with more music, and will reintroduce our fashion shows. We hope this will help to achieve the best Crafts Experience for our discerning visitors.

Cookery Theatre

If it is food that you fancy, our resident celebrity chef Nigel Brown will be running a number of cookery demonstrations each day. He will also be available after each demonstration for a question & answer session.

Nigel Brown demonstrates at major food festivals all around the country alongside other top chefs such as Jean-Christophe Novelli, Ainsley Harriott, Antony Worrell-Thomson plus many more. Nigel also runs his own exclusive cookery academy in North Lincolnshire where he inspires beginners through to professionals with his culinary expertise and cheeky sense of humour. www.nigelbrownchef.co.uk

Children's Make and Take Area

Here children of all ages are able to let their imagination's run riot in paint or in clay. We never cease to be amazed at the seemingly unlimitless talent the children always demonstrate. Quite often parents are even more amazed by their children's hidden talents.

Outdoor Demonstrations

A variety of demonstrators of rural crafts will show you traditional skills; some of whom produce contemporary work. Blacksmith, Pole lathe, Spinning, Coppice Work, Beekeeping , Basketmaker.

Live Music

From the tranquillity of a Solo Harp or Classical Guitarist to the full blown sounds of an Orchestra or Brass Band you will be sure the music is always Live.

New for This Year ~ Chainsaw Carving Demonstrations

This exciting new demonstration will be at every event this year except for Loseley Park.

Glass Blowing Demonstrations

Barleylands Glassworks will be at all of our summer Live Craft events. Come along and enjoy the fascinating art of glassblowing and then buy the product.

Fashion Shows

Each fashion show lasts for approximately 20 minutes and gives all fashion exhibitors the chance to have a variety of their products modelled in front of the visiting public, be it clothing, handbags, jewellery or accessories.

Food Court

A mouth watering Food and Drink Court is definitely an essential ingredient to every Live Crafts Show.

Opening Times & Information:

10am - 5pm Friday, Saturday & Sunday.

Dogs are allowed as long as they are kept on a lead at all times.

Admission Prices:On the Day ~Adults £6.50, Children (5 - 15 years) £2.00.

Advance Tickets ~Advance tickets include privileged parking & fast track entry.
